Hello beauties! I'm super excited to finally be sharing this blog post with you guys that I've been working on for a while! I've partnered with the amazing Masque B.A.R brand to review some of their new products and share my thoughts with you guys! They carry masks of all sorts - from peel-off, to sheet masks and even under-eye ones! I've been using Masque B.A.R products for as long as I can remember. They're super easy to access being sold at Shopper's Drug Mart and they're extremely affordable. They truly have a product for every skin type - whether you have dry skin, acne-prone skin, dull skin, etc. Masque B.A.R has you covered! Keep reading to hear about their awesome new products.
Peel-Off Masks
Masque B.A.R recently released this line of metallic, foil peel-off masks that are so satisfying! I tested out the "Silver Foil", "Red Foil" and "Green Foil" ones. All three are infused and enriched with natural ingredients that do wonders for your skin. The Silver Foil mask has raspberry fruit extract and peppermint leaf extract that successfully brightened and softened my skin after keeping it on for fifteen minutes. The Red Foil mask is infused with strawberry fruit extract and rosa canine fruit oil which made my skin so moisturized and illuminated - I felt like I was glowing after this one! The primrose flower extract and green tea extract in the Green Foil mask nourished my dry skin so beautifully! To be quite honest, I was worried about how these masks would work with my dry skin because in the past, peel-off masks haven't cooperated with my skin type. However, these ones totally proved me otherwise!
Hydrogel Eye Mask
I'm a total sucker for under-eye masks! Nothing better than having bright and awake-looking eyes. This Masque B.A.R "Pure Gold" hydrogel eye mask does exactly that! The collagen and coconut extract within this mask totally brightened up and hydrated my under-eyes. The gold that's infused in the mask also helps with skin elasticity - which many people struggle with in their under-eye area. After wearing this guy for 20 minutes, I looked so refreshed because of how moisturizing it was! Absolutely love it.
Sheet Masks
Sheet masks are my favourite! I love how moisturizing they are and gentle on the skin. Masque B.A.R recently released a "Naturals" line of sheet masks that are made up of 99% natural ingredients - which is something I love within my products. This "Green Tea" mask is full of amazing ingredients from fibres to green tea extract, papaya extract, seed extracts and more! I couldn't believe how reenergized and rejuvenated my skin felt from these beneficial, natural ingredients being infused into my skin - I think this mask gets the first place medal from me! The other sheet mask I tried out was the "Black Gold Charcoal +24gold" one. Charcoal masks are everywhere right now! The benefits of charcoal for our skin has been proven to do wonders. The charcoal helps to draw out impurities from our pores while still being gentle on the skin because of the sheet-style of this mask (in comparison to a peel-off). The 24K gold flakes illuminate and hydrate the skins appearance, which worked perfectly with the charcoal on my skin! Overall, another awesome mask.
Bio Cellulose Mask
The last mask I tried out was Masque B.A.R's "Brightening Bio Cellulose Mask". For those of you not familiar, bio cellulose masks are made up of organic skin care materials (natural fibre) that adhere to our faces like a second skin, which results in maximum absorption in all of our fine lines and areas that don't always get targeted with regular face masks. This specific mask is aimed at brightening complexion and minimizing the look of uneven skin. I loved it because I'm someone who often sees redness in my skin if not properly moisturized. The aloe, grapefruit seed and peppermint leaf extracts definitely succeeded at evening out my skin tone. Another cool part about this mask is that the ingredients within it come from the mountains in Switzerland and France - pretty cool!
Overall, I was so impressed with all of the Masque B.A.R products that I was lucky enough to test out! For being an affordable brand, these masks exceed expectations.
